Fireman’s Fund was Pacific Builder’s first LEED project. The five-floor finish out received LEED CI Silver. It was one of the first projects in Dallas to achieve LEED certification for an existing corporate interior lease space. This construction project utilized reclaimed glass, terrazzo floors, and reclaimed wood from the San Francisco Fire of 1906. Mechanical repair and replacement upgrades to the HVAC system helped to facilitate LEED certification and significantly decreased operating costs. Renovating for utility of space, Pacific Builders installed movable, folding partitions that create a flexible meeting space up to 12,000 square feet.
